This wonderful Afshar tribebag-face was hand-woven in South-Eastern Persia (Iran) near the great weaving centreof Kerman. The central large flowers are surrounded by groups of four Boteh (symbols of fertility and longevity). This bag-face shows the subtle use of two main natural dye coloursin red and blue, highlighted by an ivory-colouredborder, typical of Afshar weavers. この素晴らしいアフシャール族のバッグフェイスは、ペルシャ（イラン）南東部の織物の中心地、ケルマン近郊で手織りされました。中央の大きな花は、4つのボテ（豊穣と長寿のシンボル）に囲まれています。このバッグの表面には、アフシャール織りの典型であるアイボリー色の縁取りによって強調された、赤と青の2色の主な天然染料がさりげなく使われています。全体のバランス感覚が、このバッグ・フェイスを際立たせています。
